Nicholas Rescher

Nicholas Rescher (born 15 July 1928) is a German-American philosopher, polymath, and author of more than 400 articles and 100 books which collectively establish a systematic philosophy of "pragmatic idealism" that combines elements of the European continental idealism with American pragmatism.
