|Description=TODOA '''Sufficient Reason''' is an agent's ''actual'' reason for accepting a theory. It is sufficient as it guarantees, by the [[Sufficient Reason theorem (Palider-2019)]], that an agent accept the theory for which there is a sufficient reason. A sufficient reason aims to separate the components by which an agent accepts a theory: into acceptance of the theory that serves as a reason, the acceptance of [[Implication (Palider-2019)]], the employment of a method, and the acceptance of [[Normative Inference (Palider-2019)]]. A sufficient reason is to be contrasted with a [[Reason (Palider-2019)]] as it further involves the acceptance of the reason. Some questions surrounding acceptance without a sufficient reason remain to be explored ([[Theory Acceptance without Sufficient Reason]]).
