|Preamble=Currently the only entity taken to be capable of bearing a mosaic in scientonomy is a [[Epistemic Agents - Communities (Barseghyan-2015)|community]] [[CiteRef::Barseghyan (2105)|pp. 43-52]]. A new definition of epistemic agent has been proposed. Within the context of that new definition, the question of whether individuals, or tools and instruments can be epistemic agents requires an answer.
